Home Guard Help Desk


Home Guards Helpdesk has been established for the first time in the state for the help of old, helpless and differently-abled people in the four Dhams of the state, Kedarnath, Badrinath, Gangotri, Yamunotri.


For the safe completion of the Yatra season 2023, the Home Guards Helpdesk has been set up by the Commandant General Home Guards Mr. Kewal Khurana to help the elderly, helpless and differently-abled people in all the four pilgrimages of the state, Kedarnath, Badrinath, Gangotri, Yamunotri. Pilgrims from India and abroad can make their journey easy by contacting the help desk. In case of problems faced during the yatra and if any devotee is unable to travel, then all possible help will be given to them in the helpdesk set up by the Home Guards Department and the yatra will be completed.


In order to make the Help Desk efficient and effective, Mr. Kewal Khurana has directed District Commandant Home Guards of District Chamoli, Rudraprayag and Uttarkashi to visit the Dham sites themselves. The duty of smart home guard soldiers has been put in the help desk, so that they can help the devotees who have come from abroad in every possible way. The helpdesk set up will work 24 hours. Home Guards jawans are also very excited by this unique and commendable initiative taken by Shri Kewal Khurana.


Devotees coming to Char Dham are being helped by them with full dedication and devotion to duty. It has also been planned by the Commandant General Home Guards to reward the Home Guards every day for the work done by these Home Guard jawans. On date: 22/05/2023 in district Chamoli Badrinath Dham P. This Anil Kumar and on date: 23/05/2023 in Gangotri Dham, Home Guard Pradeep Thapa has also been announced to be rewarded. At present, about 35 Home Guards jawans have been awarded for the work done by them.

In this sequence, in relation to a unique initiative, Mr. Kewal Khurana has now opened the above helpdesk to all senior citizens from India and abroad who are willing to travel or are coming to visit the Char Dhams, they can also take advantage by contacting the numbers issued by the Home Guards Department. Can For this, mobile numbers of the employees of all the districts (related to the help desk) along with the mobile number of the District Commandant have also been issued separately in the Home Guards Help Desk.
